Finance Manager - Temporary Contract

As a fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and suitably experienced finance professional, this opportunity will provide plenty of opportunity to consolidate, broaden and develop your management and accountancy skills and business acumen.

Based in Scarborough, reporting directly to the Managing Director with functional reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will have full responsibility for managing the site finance function.  The role includes the preparation of monthly management accounts and will include management of payroll, management of the financial ledgers, producing year end audit files, managing the budgeting process and weekly/monthly reporting on both financial and production performance.  In addition, you may be involved in financial analysis, business planning and decision making, together with complex MIS projects.

Accurate, timely and meaningful information is critical to our business success.  Therefore, in addition to being an established finance professional, you must also have strong analytical and IT skills and be self-sufficient in producing relevant management reports.   Excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritise and multi-task, together with a flexible and committed approach are also a requirement if you want to join and succeed in this dynamic environment. 

We are looking for candidates who are available to join us ideally in February 2021 and the temporary contract is anticipated to end on 31 May 2022.

We are looking for enthusiastic multi skilled engineers to join our engineering team. The engineering department covers continental shift patterns, which is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our web/sheetfed presses, finishing machines and other equipment.

A comprehensive knowledge of mechanical installation, repair and diagnostic skills combined with practical hands on experience is essential, ideally involving printing and related machines. In addition a recognised engineering qualification will be required.

Opportunities to operate CMC 250 Enclosing Machine also flow-master encloser – working on a double day shift Pattern. Competitive rates dependent on experience and abilities.

Printer

No’1 Printer required to operate Goss M4000 Printing Press with folding unit. We are one of the few businesses that print reel to reel for our onsite finishing process. Double day shift pattern competitive shift rate dependent on experience and abilities.

Paper-wrap Operators

To operate paper-wrap machines with all the up to date equipment, leading innovators of the paper-wrap always looking to take products to the next level. Ideal opportunity for someone who likes a challenge.

Enclosing assistant

Opportunity to work in a team  environment  with the abilities to follow numbers, mail sort, enclose products before release to Royal Mail. This would be on a double day shift pattern.

Machine Technician – padded mailer

Chance to work with our newest innovation the padded mailer, working as part of a team that will blow the padded mailer once produced from our finishing lines. This role would be on a double day shift pattern.

Apprentice Roles

Looking for apprentices to enter the business and work across various departments. Successful candidates will have a great opportunity to forge a career in the printing industry.
