Negate the rise in paper prices by choosing short grain print

Short grain printing could provide an opportunity to negate the costs incurred by paper price increases expected from paper manufacturers. The press configuration at YM Group offers both long and short grain printing options so clients can choose from a variety of formats, all printed to the highest quality standards.

Rob Moules, Sales Manager, explains why moving from long to short grain products could help clients manage their print budgets. “Long grain presses are ideal for standard A4 and A5 products, but when you’re looking for different formats then short grain comes into its own. We can configure formats which reduce paper wastage which in turn means reduced costs – something that’s clearly of interest to our clients. When paper prices increase clients look for ways to bring costs in line with budget restrictions and short grain products  could be an option for them.”
