YM Group’s Group Publications Director, James Povey, was amongst a panel of experts at the PPA Brexit Breakfast Briefing on Wednesday 16th October at the Ham Yard Hotel in London.
The event was attended by around 80 senior leaders and decision makers from throughout the magazine publishing sector and wider industry. With the UK’s exit from the European Union set in law for 31 October 2019 and the nature of the UK’s future relationship still unclear, the Briefing was an opportunity to more accurately understand the implications and impact scenarios for magazine publishers around Brexit.
The panellists shared their own views and opinions and answered questions from the audience on a wide range of issues including Immigration, Intellectual Property, Data, Employment and the two-way supply chain between the UK and Europe. James focussed on what the YM Group is doing to support our clients through this period and discussed queries around paper supplies, production timescales and planning.
