Reporting to the Managing Director, the HR Manager will provide a comprehensive service covering all aspects of the HR function including recruitment, performance, employee relations, pay and benefits, training, compliance with all relevant legislation, company policy and procedure and the provision of appropriate professional advice and guidance.
You must be CIPD qualified to at least Level 5 standard or equivalent and have previous generalist HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment. You will require up to date knowledge and understanding of employment legislation and its practical application. A knowledge of auditing processes and an understanding of current ethical and human rights standards would also be an advantage.
You will need excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally. Additionally, you will need a high level of proficiency in MS Office applications. An ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion, professionalism and diplomacy is crucial. A full driving licence is essential as some travel will be required.
