Argos awards YM Group with Job of the Year 2017
YM Group has recently been awarded the prestigious “Job of the Year 2017” in the Home Retail Group’s (HRG) internal print awards. The award was given by the Argos Print Buying team.
Several years ago, the Argos Print Buying Team introduced an internal scoring system for every job printed. Each job is scored against important key performance indicators: sales account management, strategic account direction, print and finishing quality, deliveries, file copies and general overall service.
The YM Group was awarded “Job of the Year” for the quality of work and service received for the printing of the Argos Home Brochure. Customer Services Paul Riley was commended for his attention to detail and his diligence, ensuring the complex job was delivered to spec and to the highest standard.
Chris Cowley, Sales Director at York explains why this job was given the prestigious award. “This was a complex job with many versions, including store and direct mail versions with gold and silver foil blocking. Having a first-rate customer service team with extensive printing experience is a must when delivering a complicated job like this and our team has once again proved how comprehensive knowledge and attention to detail produces excellent results. The Argos team was particularly impressed with our quoting and account management and mentioned this as a “high” in the process.”
